In the face of lockdown, China’s e-commerce giants deliver

E-commerce companies in China ramped up several services and found innovative ways to continue doing business as the COVID-19 pandemic continued to spread.

HBR looks at how two of China’s retail giants -Alibaba and JD.com- kept the supply chain rolling by skillfully leveraging their logistics platforms, deploying automated technology, and hiring staff from closed businesses, among other strategies.
