A new partnership between the Malaysian government and global online learning platform Coursera targets unemployed workers in the country.
The COVID19 inspired Coursera Workforce Recovery Initiative was launched by the platform “ to help countries, states, and cities reskill their unemployed workers to re-enter the workforce.”
Once governments sign up, workers have unlimited access to more than 800 courses until 31 December 2020.
“Our goal is to help Malaysians access courses that train in high-demand digital skills and in turn support a swift return to the workforce and new careers," says Coursera CEO Leah Belsky.
